We build all SUNCOAST CREATIONS hoods in Bradenton, Florida and have been since the early 90's.  We use only the highest quality materials and production methods.  SUNCOAST hoods are a composite of steel, fiberglass, structural polymers, and other structural components.  These hoods are designed to provide simple bolt-on OEM fit and finish that will retain its original equipment qualities for many years.  Our highly trained production crew uses only hand lay-up and RTM (Resin Transfer Molding ) processes to create performance hoods that last.  Lesser quality production methods and materials such as chopper gun fiberglass or thermal-formed plastics can degrade over time.  And as with many other products, this industry is also seeing an influx of cheap imported products.  But don't just take our word for it, click here to see real data that proves it.

►Fully Engineered True Ram Air Functionality!

• Sealed Air Path.  A Sealed Air Path (SAP) is preferred for two reasons.  One, we want to actually ram that air down the throat of your engine's intake thus providing boost like a turbocharger.  Second, we want to segregate hot engine compartment air from the incoming cool air that enters your intake.  SUNCOAST Functional Ram Air Hoods are specifically designed to provide a sealed air path interface to the engine intake through either a minor modification to the existing air box, a replacement air box, or a matched cold air intake system.  Of course, you still can gain some performance without a sealed air path and the great added style is always there, but SAP is our best case scenario.

• Heat Extractors.  Many of our hoods offer heat extraction air flow in addition to SAP Ram Air.

• Water Management.  Our engineers have designed  these hoods with built-in water management so that your vehicle is safe from the elements.  There is no need to worry when that sudden rain storm approaches. 

• Strength and Safety.  SUNCOAST takes extra steps in the production process to ensure product rigidity, and combined with uniform material thickness and special designed in crumple zones you can rest assured your new hood is strong for a long life and safe in the event of an accident.  Performance testing has been done both in house and at OEM facilities such as the General Motors Proving  Grounds in Troy, Michigan.  In fact, at a recent GM Slam test after over 2600 hood slams, the truck broke but the SUNCOAST hood never did.
